Apatech Motors Ltd., Co.(Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Feng Sun; hereinafter “Aptech Motors”) and Koshida Tec Corporation (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Ryozo Koshida; hereinafter “Koshida Tec”) are pleased to announce that they have started to consider collaboration in order to cooperate and respond to the environmental changes amidst the drastically changing circumstances surrounding the automotive industry toward a decarbonized society.
Background and Aims of the Alliance
In recent years, as the risk of climate change has become more serious and countries have been calling for a “halving of CO2 emissions by 2030” in order to realize a decarbonized society, the electrification of vehicles has become a key issue for decarbonization efforts in Japan as well.
Under such circumstances, Apatech Motors and Koshidatech will promote the spread of environmentally friendly vehicles by bringing together their mutual resources for market research, marketing activities, and the establishment of maintenance networks, in order to promote the spread of environmentally friendly EVs in Japan, thereby pursuing the happiness of people and contributing to environmental preservation.
