Apatech Motors Ltd., Co. (headquartered in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Feng Sung; hereinafter “Apatech Motors”) and Japan Auto Body Repair Association (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Hajime Yoshino; hereinafter “Japan Auto Body Repair Association” or “JARWA”) are pleased to announce that they have started to consider collaboration in order to cooperate and respond to the changes in the automotive industry in the context of a drastically changing environment toward a decarbonized society.
Background and Aims of the Partnership
In recent years, as the risk of climate change has become more serious and more countries are calling for a “halving of CO2 emissions by 2030” in order to realize a decarbonized society, the automotive industry has been forced to shift its course to EVs.
Under such circumstances, Apatech Motors and the Japan Auto Body Repair Association (JABA) will cooperate with each other in market research, marketing activities, and the establishment of maintenance networks in order to promote the spread of environmentally friendly vehicles in Japan, thereby pursuing the happiness of people and contribute to environmental conservation.
Apatech Motors and Japan Auto Body Repair Association will hold detailed discussions with the aim of concluding a basic agreement on the business partnership as soon as possible.
